Rubi Foley has been working and volunteering for the local School district for over 10 years. She started as a parent volunteer, P.T.O. president and chair of SSC (School Site Council) at multiple sites. She has served as a lead for our SSSP (School Site Safety Plan) and is the current President of the CSEA classified Employees Union.
She has also served as an Athletic Director to foster sportsmanship and integrity based sports environments. She has lived in and loved her community for over 25 years and will continue to build, foster and maintain community relationships.
She strives to be always well integrated in her entire community in many ways. She loves her job working with MUSD (Mojave Unified School District) and she takes the utmost care, respect and pride in working with the youth in the community. She has taken many different trainings and classes to be able to work with the youth of the community. She started working with MUSD as a Campus Safety Guard and she is now an Administrative Assistant.
She believes in Restorative Justice implication and practices, and she is currently with PBIS (positive Behavior Intervention and Supports) platforms level 1and 2. She has taken training to recognize trauma based behaviors, and the different signs of different traumas.
She has also been a Girl Scout Leader in the community, parent volunteer, P.T.O president, SSC Chair and member, data analyst for PBIS Platforms and other strategic behavior intervention programs, She is a leader of SSSP and many other programs to educate herself on the climate of the community
As a director of EKHCD Rubi’s vision and drive is to build, maintain, implement or bring various health, educational programs, trainings or classes, and to implement any that will help to elevate the way of life for anyone in her community.
Rubi would like to always be known for her unwavering, kind and loving spirit that she has for everyone in the community.
